"Do you have nazis? ... Neighborhood nazis?"
"No, I don't have a covenant."
The above is an exchange I just overheard between two ladies in my office. Apparently, the context is picky neighborhood standards people and community "covenants," but it all sounds odd when taken out of context.
*sigh* Not to mention the quarrel that rises within me when people casually refer to those who are strict or picky as "nazis." No, people, those are not nazis. The nazis were deluded followers of a madman who committed atrocious crimes against anyone they could round up who wasn't like them.
Just had to vent.
